Our Story
Aurora Collection Resort was established in 2021, by the founder and CEO of the company, Nicky Haldin. Nicky has several years of experience from creating high-quality travel experiences around the Nordics. By having the knowledge of industry and the area – he got inspired to creating a completely new concept that reflects his values. “We treat people like we would like to be treated our selves”. At Aurora Collection Resort we always do our best to make sure the guests can have unforgettable and hassle free stay!
The core for our operations is trustworthiness between us and the traveler. At Aurora Collection Resort we are doing things with passion and going for that extra mile. Every detail in our resort has been designed from scratch to the end with high quality.
Our mission and concept
Our mission is to fill up the travelers dreams, providing quality services and memorable experiences. “Your dream, our passion”. Personal experience, approach and privacy is key for our delivery.
For us it is the most important that our guests will get the most of their stay in Lapland! Therefore – you will have your own host at the resort who will be making sure everything will go as smoothly as possible during your stay. The host will plan the dinners in conjunction with you and will provide transfers to the local restaurants of your choice. This will give you a chance to explore the amazing food experiences we have in the Saariselkä area.
Our design
Aurora Collection Resort brings you closer to nature. Our interior design was inspired by the surrounding Arctic nature – the constantly changing scenery is part of our interior design and connects the inside and outside together into one entity.
The cornerstones for the design are natural tones and materials, exclusive details with harmonious colour palette. All our suites are decorated with luxurious Scandinavian style and Finnish glassware.
Our two beautiful suites – Sky View Suite and Arctic Spa Suite are a combination of cabins and igloos with a modern twist.
