General Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions below apply for reservations made by an individual, private person unless a special agreement has been made. We reserve a right to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these without prior notice.
Booking & confirmation
When reserving a room your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required.
The booking is considered confirmed when the full amount is paid for the booking. A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation number.
The hotel is entitled to apply credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation.
Check-in & check-out
Check-in time 16.00 | Check-out time 11.00
Your suite is at your disposal from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 11:00 noon.
Payment
Aurora Collection Resorts accepts most commonly used credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All rates are displayed and charged in the local currency EUR.
All outstanding charges must be paid in full on the latest check-out from the Hotel.
Cancellation, changes & no show
Kindly note that different policies may apply for different rates, events or periods.
Individual bookings with flexible rate – Last free cancellation date is 30 days prior to arrival.
Individual bookings with non-refundable rate – No free cancellation.
No-show-bookings – Aurora Collection Resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.
Packages – Last free cancellation date is 60 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation or modification prior to the last free cancellation date can be done with no cost.
Guest behaviour in the resort
We follow good manners and hotel rules at the resort. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.
For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private hotel premises such as hotel rooms and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.
Guest responsibility on the damage
Smoking of any tobacco products, including but not limited to cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, pipes or cigars, is strictly prohibited inside the suites. If signs of infringement are detected, we reserve the right to charge a penalty fee of up to EUR 3000,00.
As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest in the suite or in hotel premises. This applies also to the suite furniture and other equipment, other guests in the hotel or their property.
The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles
Force Majeure
Aurora Collection Resort accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
Insurance
Our vehicles are covered by a traffic liability insurance on Finnish public roads.We recommend to our guests to take out travel insurance to cover any contingencies; Kindly note that Aurora Collection Resort does not accept cancellations without cancellation fees (if not stated differently in the cancellation terms), not even if a medical certificate or other documentary evidence is presented.
Reclamations
Any complaints or concerns about the reservation should be expressed to the reception staff immediately after they arise.
